Chocolate Icing Print E-mail

INGREDIENTS:

4 tablespoons cocoa powder

2 cups powdered sugar

3 tablespoons sweet cream butter

3 tablespoons cream cheese

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup boiling water

Mix the cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Melt butter and cream cheese in double boiler.  Add melted mixture to the powder and mix with hand mixer. Add the vanilla extract and slowly start pouring boiling water while mixing on high speed. The mixture will become thin and smooth. Pour over cake and let it chill for a few minutes.

 

 

 
Chocolate Mousse Print E-mail

  • 8 oz black chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 1 tablespoon cognac
  • whipped cream for serving


Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt slowly in a heatproof bowl, over a pan of lightly simmering water. Separate the egg yolks from whites and mix egg yolks into the melting chocolate, one at a time. Mix in the warm water and cognac. Beat the egg whites until very stiff and fold into the chocolate.
Pour into small glasses or mousse pots. Cover with clear plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Pour a thin layer of whipped cream on top of each mousse before serving.

 

 

 
Chocolate Cake Print E-mail

INGREDIENTS:
 
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 
DIRECTIONS:
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 - 9 inch round cake pans. Boil the water and pour it over cocoa, then whisk until smooth. Let mixture cool. Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl mix butter and sugar with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at time, then stir in vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the cocoa mixture. Spread batter evenly between the 2  pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool. Ice it with chocolate icing.
 
Chocolate Muffins Print E-mail




INGREDIENTS:

7 tablespoons butter (room temperature)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

½ cup original yogurt

5 tablespoons milk

1 ¼ cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ cup chocolate chips

Mix butter with sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, on at a time. Mix well. Add yogurt and milk to the batter and mix until even, smooth texture. Mix baking powder into flour and add it to batter. Mix it well. Add chocolate chips and fold it into mixture carefully. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Add muffin paper cups to muffin pan (about 15 to 17 peaces). Spread mixture equally into muffin cups. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let it cool. Serve.

 

 

 

 
Cottage cheese dessert Print E-mail

1 cup cottage cheese

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon honey

½ bananas

Mix cottage cheese with sugar. Put it in a serving bowl. Add sliced bananas on top and pour honey on top.
